The Youngsville Police Department is led by a dedicated Command Staff committed to the safety and well-being of the community. Chief of Police Cody Louviere leads the department with over two decades of extensive law enforcement experience, including roles such as K9 Deputy, patrol lieutenant, and SWAT Crisis Negotiator. Assisting him are Assistant Police Chief Sergeant Gabe Thompson and Assistant Police Chief Nick Latiolais. Sergeant Thompson plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and supporting officers on the ground, while Nick Latiolais, as Assistant Police Chief of Parks & Recreation, focuses on integrating public safety with community recreational activities.
